I would think we'd see all sorts of things before that. Our seats, for instance (unless we happened to be arriving late).

Am I missing the part that says this will definitely be the THX trailer in December, or specifically for Star Wars?
This is the new THX trailer... Do you think they would make another one for star wars 7???
I mean you are quite right in that the visual might change but this is a new sounding THX intro with enhanced surround sound. It whirls around the theater before hitting that big bass note so the sound is what we will hear for sure they may make a tailor made THX intro for star wars you could be quite right there Frink.

Yes, they certainly might.

Perhaps in reference to "See you on the other side"
it's a slogan change as well
It's always been "The Audience is Listening"
My reaction to the new logo:
What the heck was that? A zoom into Sauron's eyeball?
Where were you in '77?
Ha! That's exactly what I thought of when I saw it.
It makes me uncomfortable.
They forgot to put in Dr. Reinhardt and Maximillian...
Where were you in '77?
And Dave Bowman.
I'm impressed there are already fan made helmets for sale on Ebay. I guess the displays at Celebration helped out with the photo references.

Preferred Saga:
1,2: Numeraljoker extended
3: L8wrtr
4,6-9: Hal9000
5: Adywan
We love how "clone trooper" and stormtroopers" have been trademarked.

I remember some thinking/hoping the new sequels would ignore the prequels. Myself included in that.
Here we see the first bit of merchandise packaging and about half of the text is dedicated to explaining the prequels and Clone Troopers.

I'm imagining the Emperor overlooking his new army, and declaring, with an evil grin "They shall be called...'Stormtroopers™.'"

The ST itself may ignore the prequels. That doesn't mean all the ST mechandise will.

Pretty sure stormtrooper always had a trademark beside it in old Kenner catalogs.

Still strikes me as kind of dumb since the term "stormtrooper" pre-dates Star Wars.
Yes, but George was able to copyright droid. All he had to do was chop off the a and the n. Who knows how much Motorola pays Lucasfilm just to use it?
