Since we're at it, if there's no concern about contradicting the new movies, there's an idea I gave to someone several years back for their ROTJ edit that probably was never used, as they vanished from the site.
If you wanted to end with Palpatine waking up in a clone body, (ala the Dark Empire comic) footage from the Judge Dredd movie, (the Stallone one) would be ideal.
