Clone Wars Movie Series - Episodes (Seasons) I to V released... — Page 4

As to the character development, I saw the episodes that Smudger got his source material from, and there just wasn't enough there to draw from.  I think he really did do the best he could.  The whole old guy (99) and Heavy storyline, and Heavy's death not being very impactful, it just wasn't there in the original story.  Blame the Clone Wars writers for that.

As far as excising the Huttlett story, I think that was a good choice in principle.  I saw the Clone Wars feature film over the last weekend, and that story was so DUMB.  But yes, there was a lot of character development with Anakin and Ahsoka, not to mention there was some good material with Padme and Palpatine, that unfortunately couldn't be included without having to include the stupid baby worm story. 

So maybe the Hutlett story should have been included, but very sharply pared down; not so much of the crying baby scenes, or Ahsoka playing mother, etc.

Anyword when Episode II will be out loved episode I. I have seen all 6 seasons of clone wars my sister wants to see them I may show them to her using your movies.

I thought about using some of this "Clone Wars" to make an episode that goes between the gendy tarkovski (or whatever his name is) Clone Wars 2D animated vol 1 and 2. Personally, I think that old series, released before Ep3, was better, but didn't have any Bail Organa scenes and some others.

Without giving too much away, if you prefer, can you give a rough idea of what parts of the series will be covered in your set of 9 movies vs. left out?

I haven't finished your first edit yet, as I only just downloaded it and am watching it rather piecemeal due to time constraints, but I'm enjoying it so far.  I look forward to when Ep. II is up for download.  This was a great idea.

A quick technical query. I'm struggling to burn Episodes I and II to Blu Ray, without stuttering. Should I be looking to convert the MPEG-4's to another format?

This is probably getting way ahead of ourselves. But seeing your recent review on fanedit, where someone expressed excitement to later see how you handle the Darth Maul storyline had me thinking. *Do* you plan on including the Maul storyline (with SpiderMaul et al?)
