got the file. now i've just got the thorny problem of this

virtualdub won't append the two files because mine has a video stream sample rate of 23.97602 and the splice has 23.97604 and even if I use this script

avisource("p:\anh_shimmer_correction_from_se_corrected.avi").assumefps(23.97602)

so that they match, it still won't append it.
