I also find it especially funny now when a lot of people are now criticizing Disney's decision to make several Anthology films. Someone should remind them that they made Ewok films back in the 80's and that no-one have really given a damn about it in the past 30 years.

Hmm ... This makes me wonder if the Ewok films'll be rebranded Anthology films in future releases.

Is this the first SW film to have it's own alcoholic beverage? ;)

What's up with C-3PO's red arm? He's got like a Hellboy thing going on.

More like Big Boss' arm/weapon :D

Maybe it's a weapon or some kind of removeable tool, which would explain why he's wearing it.

I want them to make a third one where Mace, (the other one) is actually still alive, and had gone all Col. Kurtz with the Duloks.

Comes a protocol droid over Tatooine sands / with a dusty gold chassis and a red left hand.

Hang on a minute. The name Mace originally comes from the Ewok movies?
Someone should make a list of PT elements that Lucas borrowed from the EU. The multi-coloured lightsabers already seems to have been in the EU first, and so does several aliens (Dexter from ATOC is apparently based of an alien from SW Droids) so it seems like it would be quite a long list.

IIRC, the name Mace first appears somewhere in Lucas' early Star Wars drafts.

To be precise, Mace Windy was the Jedi Master who mentored the narrator of the unfinished 1973 Journal of the Whills fragment, the apprentice Chuiee Two (CJ) Thorpe.

In his 1983 book Skywalking, Dale Pollock (who got a lot of things in the early SW drafts extremely confused overall) mis-typed the character's name as "Mace Windu," and GL adopted this latter spelling for TPM.

Well, I guess Disney have to do anything they can to make back those 4,6 billion they spent on buying SW.

(Also is that Seth MacFarlane voicing the Emperor again?)

I just wanted to quote Obi-wan's joke about Windu, sorry I didn't make it clear.

Anyway, that trailer is from Detours, a show that was in development before Star Wars' acquisition, and was actually cancelled by Disney to develop Rebels :D

Right, my bad. I guess it's not really in Disney's best interest to make fun of the franchise they've just acquired.

I was just watching a few scenes from ANH to waste some time when I noticed this thing in the background of Mos Eisley which looks very similar to the engine we saw behind BB-8 in the TFA trailer. I just thought it was kind of funny since the there's so many articles and videos circulation the web right now where everyone insists that it's actually a pod-racer engine. I guess everyone's just paranoid about there being the slightest of references to the PT.

Since the podracers were the only thing on the PT I liked, I have no problem believing that both of those pieces of junk are pod engines.

But, I'll bet that, like the OT shot, there won't be any mention in the film of what it really is and the viewer can make up whatever he/she wants.

Lucas wrote the story treatments for both films. As well as worked on Droids with the series creators.

Sounds like something that would have shown up in the lousy New Jedi Order books.

The double-bladed lightsaber and Aayla Secura would definitely have to go on the list.

That grouping on the left in the second image looks more like podracing engines. Does podracing only occur on desert planets?

Pretty sure that was in an early Star Wars draft.

The planet, yes, but not the actual name. That was made by Timothy Zahn (author of the Thrawn trilogy).
