Regarless of colors, the prequels had too many lightsabers on screen at once and too many lightsabers period. Characters also used their lightsabers too often. The rarify of lightsabers was a major part of their charm in the OT. This is one of the reasons that I hope that there aren't many lightsaber-users in TFA.
