I just checked that scene and you are right. That scene is some frames in the SE and DVD edition compared to the OT.
Using LD material won't work well, so the only option is to cut the small shooting scene after "I'll bet you have" and use the dvd sound for the whole Hand-Greedo-cantina sequence.
