I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Disney throwing out the treatments thing is wishful thinking on the part of those who think that anything created by Lucas is inherently bad. Lucas said he didn't recognize anything in the first teaser, but he also said that he hasn't been following the development of TFA. Maybe it just so happens that nothing from the treatments was included in the first teaser.
