I LOVE the sound effects in the trailer. I wish they had kept them. It definitely is more "explosive" and IMo fits more in line with the first movie. Of course, Cameron's idea was to eventually do the opposite with the 5.1 Remix of part 1 :-(

I doubt it. But there's always hope. Someday someone may do a fan edit of T2 that makes it looks, sound, and overall feel like a sequel to part 1. Using some vhs video filters, old stock sound effects, and a new synth heavy score ;)
