Maybe this is all some sinister scheme. Shimraa returns under a new name, racks up another 5000 posts and then combines them through Jay to take a sudden lead on his unsuspecting competitors?
Or is that just my "explain away the new star wars plots" neurons firing?
That would make little sense, as it would take longer for a newbie to rank up his posts than it would to continue as Shimraa. You're thinking way too much like the producers of Startrek, starboy...
But if we replicate the effect made by the positronic particles in the wake of that warbird, we can pass through the space-time anomaly and get Riker to shave!
"hello, paramount? Yes, this is *cough* Gene Roddenbury...yeah...yes, good to hear from you too. Listen, I had some changes for that latest storyboard I sent you...yeah..."
-three months later-
The newest reality show! We put the cast of all 72 Star Trek iterations on a single space ship and fire it towards the sun! First one to make it back to earth wins!

wow. maybe it's been a longer day at work than I realized.
Startrooper just used Ric and She together; I'm assuming he (or she...sorry but with Star Wars fans my default gender assumption is male) knows the members of the community pretty well.
Somebody else mentioned in another thread that Ric was a girl and, when I asked another person via PM, they confirmed it. Maybe this is completely wrong, but the mention of Ric being a girl in this thread is the second time I've seen it on this site in as many months. I'm thinking either there was no typo and Ric is a "she" or there is some conspiracy afoot to throw all us OT'ers off base.
Me, I always assumed Ric was a "he" because in the thread about our forum names, Ric said that the Ric in Ricarleite was his/her first name. I immediately thought "Ricardo" seeing as how Ric is from Brazil. But we all know what happens when you assume, right?

Funny thing, (s)he never confirmed this, but neither denied.
Recently we had a pretty odd situation on our flightsimmers forum, I'm still unsure whether that troublemaker who set up multiple accounts was a man or a woman.
I saw the original theatrical release of the Old Trilogy on the big screen and I'm proud of it... How did I accomplish that (considering my age) is my secret...
