TCW is an improvement to the PT aspect of the Star Wars universe, while Rebels is a childish step down from the OT. Even though the shows are very much alike, in comparison to their related films, one series is superior, the other inferior.
Rebels doesn't really feel like it even takes place in the OT era. It feels more like the PT 2.0 era (for lack of a better descriptor).

The Rebels thread is that-a-way----------------------->
I'm making my way into season 3 of TCW and I still don't like it as much as season 1 of Rebels. TCW's got cool stuff in it but is really lacking in characterization and it just doesn't feel as much like Star Wars as Rebels.

I feel the same way.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

I feel the same way as well, but Rebels is definitely more childish than the OT. I don't mind too much, I think, because childhood isn't very far behind me....
The upcoming documentary series The '70's on CNN had darn well better have a segment on Star Wars.

Happy Birthday George!
But George Burns' birthday was on January 20.
HA!
:-/
I'd buy her a drink! :)

I'm so confused right now...
I saw her at Celebration. It was weird.

Turns out she's the girlfriend of one of the Mythbusters crew.

Well that makes sense because I saw Grant there, too.

So did I. He sat infront of me to the left at the John Knoll 40 years of ILM panel.

I know what you mean. Fish with mammaries? How does that make any sense at all?
There were female Mon Calamari designed for Episode III. They were swimming in the water show Palpatine was watching in the opera house scene, but ended up too small to actually be seen in the movie.

There was a BIG stink way back during the development of Star Wars Galaxies about whether Trandoshans and Mon Calamari should have breasts. Finally SOE took it up with Lucasfilm and it was decided that since they were not mammals they would not have mammaries.
Then ROTS happened and that was thrown out the window presumably because you know who...
Well thank goodness they aren't visible onscreen.
I always hate it when non-mammalian alien females are depicted having breasts. Physiological logistics aside, it just smacks of sexism/objectification to me.
I seem to recall this same argument within Gargoyles fandom. In any case, when real non-mammalian aliens show up we'll have something to debate. ;)

I thought the opera was just about big boring bubbles.
The blue elephant in the room.
What about when mammalian aliens have three breasts?
This is cool, right? Nothing sexist about this.
