I often thought of this disaster when people would ask of the Baltimore protesters "why are they breaking things in their own town?"

btw, on youtube is a very interesting documentary about the MOVE fire. It is called "Let The Fire Burn". Although I do feel it was a little bit biased in favor of MOVE and against the police.
Ironic that their name was MOVE and yet that is the one thing they set about making sure they would never have to do. Dumb obnoxious animal people. Not sorry to see them gone.

Oh look I posted again. Reason being I recently watched a documentary film about this incident called Let The Fire Burn. It paints MOVE as a radical but largely peaceful group forced down a confrontational route by a fascistic police force. I suggest anyone interested in this watch the film. Sadly it is pertinent to organisations of authority the world over. Then and now. The whole thing is up on YouTube .
