as I said Ill drop it. I know the truth and thats all that matters to me.

Sorry for the drama... hopefully the TeamBlu releases that are already on Blu-torrent will continue to remain.

Also: if someone has the CONAN 2 blu-ray set and is willing to upload it on BT, would you consider giving it the "100% free" torrent designation too?  I am also guessing someone took down the NEVERENDING STORY 2 blu-ray set?

jedi removed some of his uploaded before he was banned. selfish on his part as there where active leechers and seeders on them

Conan was never uploaded there, though nearly everything else that Team Blu Released that I'm aware of was at one point.

So you guys that keep saying it is no surprise about the "take my toys and go home" well maybe you guys are not really fans of what we do anyways, just idiots that like to start shit, I have said that when this started it was a great thing, I had almost ALL our BD's out for everyone and now this is gone, yes it is sad that the shit went down the way it did, but I did get almost ALL our stuff out there and was ready to share more.

Also why in the hell would I want anymore of our releases there now when I cannot even be there, someone please tell me that lol, I already said that uTorrent on my Home connection is a no go, and it is no big secret that I hate Usenet, I will figure something out at some point, I did before I will again, so to those that do like what we do and have some patience I thank you very much, as I have said we only have 1 title ready right now and a second to be ready withing a few weeks so no one is really missing out of anything yet.

1 more thing, I do remember who has helped with things in the past so don't worry about that, there was very, very few of you but I remember who you are.

Thanks and Have a Nice Day!

Sooo... in other words:

DJ was banned because he started to "take my toys and go home" because he did not want to share Team Blu's work because... he doesn't want it shared publicly?  Because why does it matter if he is there or not, if the entire purpose is to share it publicly?  I thought the only thing that mattered was:

1) giving credit to the original creators and fan editors, and

2) not selling it as a legitimate product.

It is also nice to see a veiled threat:

1 more thing, I do remember who has helped with things in the past so don't worry about that, there was very, very few of you but I remember who you are.

Like how he remembered how I sent him a 1080p MKV of the European cut of SWAMP THING?  I think he received another version with a different MGM-HD watermark (not sure which he used, or if he made a composite), but hey, whatever.

Regardless, this is getting WAAAY too melodramatic over what seems to be a whole lot of nothing.  Either you want to share your stuff or you don't.  If you can't torrent, RAR file or whatever your file(s), I am sure there are people here that have seed boxes or Uploaded/Mega/etc accounts that DJ or another Team Blu member could send "ONE" plain BD-R without cover art or case art to that can rip it to their hard drive and then seed away.

But hey...:

I would be curious to know what the rest of Teamblu make of this situation. Just seems like a lot of bridge burning going on, but maybe didn't need to play out that way? Regardless, for everything released thus far, I think I can speak for all of us and say that it's much appreciated.

If I may, I'd like to bring this topic back on topic. :) While everyone has a right to express themselves, and to disagree at times, the reason that I joined Original Trilogy, is because everyone here loves film. We're passionate, and that's a good thing, but I think it's time to return to the discussion of Team Blu's work. :)

On that note, I'm happy to say that the BD XL discs I ordered have arrived and I'm one giant step closer to watching Team Blu's Terminator 2! I can't wait! I also just upgraded my receiver to a nice new Denon with Dolby Atmos. I can't wait to hear the CDS theatrical soundtrack in Atmos. :) A great film from my childhood finally married with great audio and video.

So, a big, hearty "thank you!" to Dark Jedi, You Too and the rest of Team Blu. Your work really is pro-level. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next. In the meantime, "hasta la vista, baby!" :)

What can you get a Wookiee for (Life Day) Christmas when he already owns a comb?

Any Particular reason you're using a BD XL disc for that release?  I burned it just fine on a BD-50.

EDIT: I agree with everything you said as well...

 Er, what?

I think he is referring to Dolby Atmos that has speakers above you. The Terminator CDS is 5.1 and has no Height information, so playing it through an Atmos setup would proberbly not make any difference.

Thanks Scruffy and Triple for the nice comments, very nice to read some of those once in a while lol.

OK so I am pretty sure this is a stupid question but I am sure no one here wants to see The Black Hole without the opening overture/intro correct?

1 more thing, I know it is not our thing to release a bunch of versions, we are a 1 and done and move on type, but The White Buffalo we feel we can really correct, so no promises but we are looking into making a v2 of this video and to make it more look like the DVD and not so drab in color like our release and the new Kino release.

We are also rounding up NOTLD 68 extras, the 3 main video files are ready.

Thanks again for the nice comments and we hope you enjoy the releases.

***edit, please do not ask when these will be finished, I will post here when we are done and all is tested, all of us have some serious "real life" stuff going on right now and we are going to relax and take our time, plus Summer is coming, thanks for your understanding.

Speaking personally I'm a theatrical purist, so if it was there at the cinema I like to see it on the disc! Wikipedia seems to think only the 70mm prints included the overture - I can't find much other reference to the various releases, but perhaps it was a first-run deal (were studios still doing roadshow screenings in 1979?)

Is there an issue with the materials you have to hand? If it's not on your existing video/soundtrack, you could simply reinstate it with a black screen and the track from the remastered OST - let me know if you need a rip of that!

Cannot wait to your NOTLD68 and Day of the Dead projects, these 2 are real classics which are worth the wait, so enjoy your break Team Blu.

In case anyone is interested, I watched T2 last night and thoroughly enjoyed it! For a 24-year-old film it holds up remarkably well. The BD-DL —XL was a typo :P —I burned worked perfectly. My family had no clue that the disc was "home made;" the professionalism was that good. I watched it on my PS3 and got a real kick out of the T2 poster icon in the XMB. Great touch!

The soundtrack was awesome, as I hoped, full and punchy. My receiver technically used Dolby's new Dolby Surround Upmixer, which is essentially an enhanced Dolby Pro Logic IIz/IIx. The receiver uses this when it doesn't have a true Atmos signal, but it did enable my height speakers to get in on the action and really fill the room.

Anyway, this is now my go-to version of T2. As soon as I print a BD box insert, it'll take its place on my shelf. Consider me impressed. :)

Regarding "The Black Hole", definitely overtune all the way!!!  I really don't think that any release would be complete without it.  This is easily one my favorite sci-fi movies and I can't wait to see the Team Blu edition when it's ready.  I know that it's going to be EPIC and SUPER SWEET (just like the other Team Blu edition that I proudly have in my movie collection).

Also, glad to hear the NOTLD '68 is progressing nicely.  I will always have a soft spot for this film as it started my love affair with the Horror genre.  I'm definitely looking forward to the Team Blu editions of this and Day of the Dead.

As a proud supporter over the last couple of years, I can say with confidence that any release from Team Blu is always worth the wait.  Their track record has show this time and time again and has consequently made a huge believer out of me.

Dying to see these Terminator projects! Can anyone here give me an invite?

Can't wait for more TeamBlu releases... you guys know where it's at! I have loved every single release from you guys, that I have viewed. Top-notch work, better than basically all studios by far. We true fans are still out here... We really appreciate the hard work done with all your releases. I know exactly how hard these projects can be. Keep up the great work and let no one discourage you.

Unfortunately Usenet is the only way now I think DJ can share his future releases now since the BT tracker incident.

The Team Blu releases will be back to hard to get hold of again unless somebody that downloads them from Usenet is kind enough to upload on torrent somewhere.

I personally don't use Usenet.

How come?  It's not difficult to use.

IMO usenet is the best way to share files by far. It is as fast as your internet connection allows and has amazing retention. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that it is not free. It is very inexpensive, though.

Some people are cheap ..... lol.  That is a drawback.

Considering that most Team Blu releases are practically the definitive editions of their respective films, a little money out of pocket to get them is well worth it. Some of us want greatness, but don't want to pay a dime for it. Doesn't quite work that way usually. :)

Well, considering how money is not supposed to be involved, I don't see why it should be required to acquire one of these projects.

We don't allow money to go to the project creator(s), why allow it to go to the newsgroup company?

I get what you're saying here.  There are free trials for newsgroup access and 14 days is more than enough time to snag said releases from there but then people have to learn how to use a newsgroup reader and since most of them may not want to do that (simple as it is) they just want someone to post it for them.

I pay for my bandwidth as do those who are looking to download.

Newsgroups are the lesser of 2 evils in my opinion.

Following that line of reasoning we shouldn't allow any money to go to the manufacturers of the recordable Blu-rays we'll be burning the files to also.

Personally, I say Teamblu should feel free (no pun intended) to post their completed projects wherever they see fit. Personally, I'd rather pay a bit for say a secure file locker access or newsgroup access to get these little gems than not have them at all.

I think some of us would prefer Teamblu create these wonderful projects, burn them to disk, package them and send them to everyone free of charge. Good luck on that one!
