Indeed, film frames are beautiful, and colors look good "as is", even if need some adjustement; I also noted that sometimes few details are lost in the film, while present in the DVD, and vice versa...

But if you think the MagicSR (yes, I used the Super Resolution for the GKar+TB combination) is made using broadcast SDTV, the result is outstanding... the worst offending thing, to me, is not color, or detail, but the fact that it's heavily cropped, while film has, obviously, the whole picture intact!

Hope to see the film preservation ASAP - even if 97SE is not my preferred version, I want to see it "on film" as well!
