My cousin fell off the roof of his 4-story complex last night. I believe he's on life support. I come from a large family, but there are only a few close in age to me so this is hitting hard. There's nothing I can do, I'm over 3,000 miles away - I always have been. As a result I've always felt distanced and it's a little hard for me to grasp the magnitude of this situation. All I can do is pray (yes, me) and hope he'll pull out of it. We've gotten a little good news since, but I have no idea as to any brain damage. God willing, there isn't any.
