I agree. I actually enjoyed killing the "slash all my prices!" guy, especially since you'd get his parts.

Heh.

It was less fun in the Mos Espa Arena because Jabba would kill you if you said something wrong, lol.

It was so dumb in that level how you had to get to Watto. And then when you are in the grandstands...and then with the random Tusken Raiders in the pit area...and the guy who stole the part you needed...

It was all sooo dumb.

Final Fantasy X is my favorite game of all time.

Followed by Halo, River City Ransom, Ocarina of Time.... man I don't know. I'd have to look at my list.

Anyone played Killzone? Was it as big a disappointment as IGN led me to believe?

Anyone played Ratchet or Jak 3? They both look pretty slick.

I've played the first few missions of Rachet III. It's really about the same as Going Commando but a lot easier. So if you loved GC, you'll love UYA.

Unless you hate sequels easier than their predecessors. And also, you get the shotgun as your primary weapon rather than the reapeating blaster.

Yo sweetness.

However, I liked the difficutly in Going Commando. I don't mind dying or losing a few races so long as I get it after a few tries.

Agreed. Old school games are frustrating, and recent school games are too easy.

The new school: Halo, AstroBoyOmegaFactor, and Rachet and Clank Going commando are the kind of games I like. Not dumbly difficult or stupidly easy.

I heard Jak has a good difficulty. You'll really have to improve your skills as you go through, but it's not just cheap deaths. You can really get better as you go.

"going commando" refers to "free balling"

i.e. when you are out in combat, you don't have washing machines or unlimited supplies of underwear, so eventually ...

I thought "going commando" refferred to Rachet's being selected to get the Protopet back.

I think it's a double entendre... like Up your Arsenal can refer to "upping" your weapons, or it can be more along the lines of "up your arse."

Back to the "old games are hard, new games are easy" topic, what game are you most proud of beating?

I have taken down both Contra and Super C with no code, no continues.

I would say some of those old NES games are the hardest? I think the original Mega Man, Ninja Gaiden, and Castlevania were the hardest for me to beat.

I never beat Castlevania...

I finally killed Frankenstein at some point, but never got through the next level. Megaman likewise, I could get to the Dr. Wiley parts but never get all the way to him. Congrats on beating them.
