Has anybody considered bitorrent sync and a Synology media box for sharing and backing up TeamBlu's creations?

I think the main problems with sharing large files would be the initial bandwidth upload and the storage space.  Bittorrent Sync pro seems to handle large file sizes alright.  Once the files are shared with others then other people can share just like bittorrent, but privately with a Bittorrent Sync key.

For the storage space problem, I suggest getting a Synology 4 Bay media server with TB hard drives that do Raid 1 mirroring.  Recently, I had two 1 TB hard drives fail on me, but I was just able to back up all that data fast enough onto the Synology media server with 7 TB on Raid 1. Now I don't have to worry about losing all those video / audio files because Synology notifies me about failing hard drives and then I can swap out the failing hard drives.

And I think the Synology media server can act as a webpage server, but I bought it mostly as a long term, large file sizes back up system.
