Sorry bud. It would have been better for you to slide your rook across towards your king. Now normally I like a swift kill, but I think I will offer you the option to take back if you like. It's really your only hope, as actually doing what I'd hoped (that is, capturing my silver) will spell your doom.
Very well. I have the game planned out a few turns in advance, as I figured my doom was spelt just as well if I moved my rook out of the way. However, I didn't take into account the possibility of a well-dropped rook ending it all very quickly, and I now see a possible way out (out being a lengthier game).
I think you're the clear winner, but for the sake of playing a more interesting game:

And a check to my king.

And so it is. I should be paying more attention...
Those pieces you have just sitting there are starting to get on my nerves. Let's see if I can do something about that before they do any damage....

I thought that your plan was to check me all along and that you just forgot to say it :) Oh well. Not sure what your plan is with my guys on the flank, but I am afraid I'll have to make life more complicated for you.

I was hesitant to move my rook forward for this reason. :P I suspect that the game will draw to a close soon unless I can get that bishop of yours mine....

I know you like to keep on fighting, and it looks to me that you still have a while yet. You are a resourceful guy, especially when cornered. Hang in there. :)
