As this is a "reconstruction" of sorts, I admit I have no *proof* that this is how the SW saga would or would not have gone in 1975.

This thread is merely my own attempt at extrapolating the probable course of the 1975 outlines for the Saga, based on existing books and movies that GL had likely read.

By all means, feel free to move it to the fanfiction section.

After I'm done, though, I'll gladly post a list of sources (or "Quellen," as H. Rider Haggard puts it in Allan Quatermain).

I will say that my account of the 12-episode Saga is deliberately designed to make sense of both Gary Kurtz's garbled accounts of the Sequel Trilogy, as well as GL's undated page of notes for a 12-episode saga (listing SW 1977 as "Episode VI" in chronological terms) seen in The Making of ESB.
