Regardless of my comments above, I also was let down by the short at the beginning. It WAS intriguing and interesting to see, but not at all what I had come to see. I'm glad I saw it and for some reason I keep thinking about it, how that idea must have evolved and come to fruition and been developed and all that, simply because it was so unlike the movie or any other animated short.

Something about the flamboyancy of the whole thing and slightly off balance nature of the characters. Basically intrigued how it was pulled off at all. I think it would get better every time. To a point.

Anyway, I'm learning a lesson right now about not to continue typing until you really figure out what you're going to say. maybe you'll never get there. ...
