Author
Time

Have you always wanted to post a comprehensive list of every book you own but have been too afraid to do so in other threads before now? Well, now you don't have to worry; this thread is completed devoted to such incomprehensively long lists.

You can also list comic books/graphic novels/trade paperbacks/etc. if you wish.

(This thread is not insured against Bunny™ attacks.)

Would it console you to know that I once had the Book of Mormon in my collection?

Author
Time

Sure!  I'm of course just giving you a hard time.  It's a great list.  I'm sure mine is much bigger, hence the joking insult.  I may get around to posing that list some day, but it would take a looooooong time to put together.

Hmm, I'm almost tempted to catalog all my books for the purpose of this thread...

But to start off with, here's a small sample:

- Lots of Stephen King and Michael Crichton books.

- A handful of books by Louis Sachar; "There's A Boy In The Girls' Bathroom," "Holes," and the "Wayside School Trilogy".

- Lord of the Rings (3 copies) and The Hobbit (1 copy).

- A damn good amount of Elmore Leonard and Christopher Moore books.

- Barely any L. Ron Hubbard books.

- Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy 1 & 2

- Various books that got turned into movies; "A Clockwork Orange," "Jaws," "Wonder Boys," "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" etc.

- Some Agatha Christie stories and plays.

- A ton of screenplay books.

- Not too many comics. I mainly just bought a ton of older issues from the "3 for $1" bins. But I got a handful of graphic novels, like "Watchmen" and "The Dark Knight Returns" and stuff.

- And lastly, a bunch of old Shakespeare paperbacks from high school.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

That's not a thing.  Unless you are referring to Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

Oh, I know you were just joking around. If I'd thought you were being serious, I would have given a decidedly mean-spirited response. =P

I have about 25 books of my own, plus a bunch of Equinox magazines from the late '80s and early '90s. My family has a decent-sized library of a few thousand books, however, of which I have barely scratched the surface and likely never will get much further. I'd list my books, but there are three and a half provinces between us at the moment.

They include several Star Wars visual guide-type books, four bibles (NASB, NRSV, a Gideon New Testament, and a French "Version Officielle Liturgique), a Qur'an, Dune, and a couple bird field guides (I'm a bit of a birder and have a checklist going right now, with sixty-odd species checked off so far).

Well I guess I had nothing better to do this afternoon than make a list of all my books. Four main categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Graphic Novels, Scripts.

Things I'm not including: "Bootleg" scripts aka actual three-hole punched scripts (I have a few); children's "Find and Seek" type books, like Waldo; single issue comic books; Playboy magazines (I have a ton).

So, here is my full list, baring anything I've loaned out or misplace...
