Yep. Keep in mind, however, that the AC3 file was made with a lossy codec, so you've lost some sound information. If you are going to edit the WAVs and make a new AC3 file, save it in the highest quality possible, since you'll lose more information the second time as well.

I believe Sonic Foundry will make your AC3, but you will need a plug-in and a serial number.
