There is so much cool potential for standalone movies I'd imagine that there will be many more in the coming decades after this first batch. Which would be awesome IMO.
And the teaser "shot" looked dope, the fighter flying overhead towards the massive death star.. it's all about perspective BTW, if it's really close to the planet then sure it could look that big.
