Hi. Anybody here knows where I can find a 1080p copy of the uncensored Saludos Amigos ? Because, aside of Netflix or Itunes, I can't it anywhere else.

Thanks to answer

Does such a thing exist?

"Right now the coffees are doing their final work." (Airi, Masked Rider Den-o episode 1)

I only know of a 720p version, which is probably the itunes version (but still it's uncensored)

Okay, maybe someone else can watch The Three Caballeros on its original VHS or Laserdisc release(s) a couple dozen times to verify this for me (and confirm that I am in fact NOT crazy in this instance), but I thought that there was a frame that WAS edited out on the DVDs.

Specifically, it was during the Flying Gauchito sequence and when the title character and his mount fly through the frame in this one instance, there was a smoking man and his horse, and when the flythru happens, the HORSE is the one smoking.  I have NOT seen it on either DVD release, which is quite worrying that they didn't do a proper Walt Disney Treasures release for this movie and the other 'package features" because we will very likely never get a proper, nice-looking release for these amazing movies ever again.

That's a new one to me, bjwanlund.

I don't have an old source to check on that.

Hi, does anyone have Aladdin Laserdisc (uncensored) soundtrack? Please PM me, thanks.

Can someone do another screenshot comparison of "Dumbo", comparing the 1982, 1985 (VHS), 1991, and 1995 laserdiscs with the 2001, 2006, and Blu-Ray releases?

Is there is a preservation somewhere out of there of Gold Edition and/or the LaserDisc versions of Pocahontas?

Also, does anyone know if the 5.1 sound mix on the Gold Edition is the same as the mix on the 2005 DVD and 2012 Bluray?

I don't think there's a point? The second version of the DVD still had an authentic OTV option.

I'm more interested in the audio mixes than the video.

I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere in this thread. But I would like to add to the first post that the first Region2 dvd of Fantasia (released around 2000) contains the short edit of the film (same as the 1990 VHS) with all the original Deems Taylor voice over narration. And not the long version that was released overseas and where Deems Taylor was dubbed over, even on the segments of his narration that have survived.

I also got hold of a Chinese dvd of the film. This one surprisingly contains one full introduction, where we actually see Deems Taylor talking on screen. The rest is the same as the R2 dvd (voice over intros). I would suppose this is his actual voice that we are hearing.

The R2 dvd and blu ray that have come out in Europe since are the same as the US ones.

I assume the original Region 2 was likely just a port of the laserdisc transfer?

And actually, you could always see Deems Taylor onscreen at the beginning of the short version. (Except for the 1982 version, I think? But that has not been released anywhere.)

Post pictures of the cases, covers, and discs please.

Like TServ said, the R2 is probably a laserdisc release because unfortunately, from what I read, all the official releases had the narration replaced. Hope I'm wrong though.

Any information on the Aladdin Diamond Edition blu-ray? Just curious if it's just the special edition DVD (AKA the IMAX presentation that never happened), transfer or the original theatrical print (of course, with the censored "Arabian Nights").

I just found an HDTV 1080i version of “Make Mine Music”, which says it includes the deleted segment.
But… it is degrained as it seems.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937): First ‘fully restored’ by Lowry in 1994. This is also when the Masterpiece VHS and laserdiscs came out. As far as I am aware there is no home video format that has not been reanimated. … Purist recommendation: Film reels(?)

Should this be of interest?

Pretty good question. I don’t know. Assuming it’s the same as the UK release that came out a few years back, it’s probably the IMAX repaint job.

Anyone know?

There is a 35mm IB Tech transfer of Disney’s Pinocchio on BDR- grain intact, except it goes out of focus for a few minutes during the puppet show.

I do like the blu-ray edition- but somehow seeing the film in IB with the grain intact is different…

Actually, I found two that might be different releases (one in a bundle of several Disney films), but this one had full sized screenshots.  (You can check them out on RuTracker if you want.)

Where exactly did you find this?
