That is not what I meant.  I just think trolls need to be dealt with.  Please remember it wouldn't be me making the decisions.  I nominated someone other than myself to be off topic moderator, and when someone nominated me I turned them  down flat.   So it wouldn't be me saying "If I don't want to interact with someone, no one can!".  

I just don't understand why someone whose sole purpose is troll here and insult and disrespect people and their religious beliefs should remain undisciplined.  The should be at least a few rules here.

I don't even want to look in this forum anymore. Being a mod is stressful enough as it is. If I had my way, it wouldn't even be ported over to the new software.

And your definition of a "troll" seem to be "someone who is inconvenient to me".

 inconvenient? no  incredibly annoying and insulting a offensive?  yes, someone who is all that doesn't want to be anything else or almost doesn't want to be anything else is my definition of a troll.

 sorry that you feel this way.   I get the feeling that Jay and the other mods feel the  same way.  

I almost wonder if it wouldn't be best for someone  else to totally take over the Off Topic Section.    Maybe someone(not me) can create a new website and this section can ported there and a link to it posted here.   I don't know.   Just a thought.

on that thought a quote from the movie 1776 made Ben Franklin:

There's nothing terribly wrong with off-topic.  Sure, it's a moronathon, but it's *our* moronathon.  If it disappeared, I probably would too.  And if we had a vote about getting rid of it, I'd absolute vote against doing so.
