(flashback from September 1998)
I seriously doubt Episode I will be that terrible. I mean even Return Of Jedi wasn't that bad if you take out the Ewoks. It's not like the 80s when we had Caravan of Courage. I mean we're going to have Liam Nesson, Ewan MacGregor, and Samuel L Jackson in the new trilogy! We get to see Anakin before he became Darth Vader! And George Lucas is returning to the director's chair this time instead of that nobody Richard Marquand! Sure the Special Editions cast some doubt, but he's just trying to perfect his vision of the Star Wars saga. He's not to blame for Howard the Duck or Radioland Murders: he didn't have any creative control over those films. So I'm confident we are in good hands and Episode I is going to be just as good if not better than The Empire Strikes Back.
