108 dollars before government taxes and fees is how much the collection is on fios. For some new bonus features, no thanks!
No original cuts of the movies no ability to rent only the special features. Sorry no sale.
I would pay 90 bucks just for the original cuts of the original trilogy, with no prequels and no bonus materials, limited to no cleanup. As long as the films had their original audio mixes, the original colors and original effects.
It is so insane that the last release was done in 1993.
Lucasfilm can rot until the oot is released.
Disney's unwillingness to release the theatrical versions of the original trilogy is going to sour the experience for me going in to see the force awakens.
Though they will not care as they will have my money. Unless i am willing to boycott a film i want to see.
So far though they haven't refused to release anything. I never would have expected them to debut the OOT for the first time in years over an online digital sale.
Also, I'll only see TFA if there's an acceptable blu ray copy of the OOT sitting on my shelf. I really don't even want to see it that much anyway so me going would really just be more out of gratitude for an OOT release than anything.
