One thing I do hate about Windows 7 is that it no longer gives you an error code when something messes up or it's can't do something. In the name of making things more user friendly now all it does is say that something can not be done or a program has stopped working. This is great for people who hate error codes but for people like me, I have no idea where to start when trying to fix a problem.
Here is an example.
I sent up a second user account so that my little brother and sister cane play games on my computer without my having to worry about them messing up my text documents or my video or audio projects. The trouble is a lot of games install parts of themselves(including their game save files)to my documents. I didn't think this would be a problem, because I could just instruct the computer to share the contents of that folder with the other user account I set up. The trouble is every time I try to do that I just get the message "This folder can not be shared" no error code or link to anything explaining why so I can fix the problem, just that one message telling me it can't be done and nothing about why.
I really hate that.
If anyone has any idea what I am doing wrong could you please tell me?
Thank you.
