The only light beer I'll drink is the occasional Budweiser (never Bud Light) which is only 0.1% away from a regular beer anyways, and Guinness which is 0.9% away from a reg.
I'll never really understand the Light beer thing. If people drink it to cut calories and carbs, there's not enough difference for it to even matter. And it always tastes like crap. Why won't they just have a normal beer? Why is Bud Light so popular?

Also, I lied. I'm not starting with my trusty stand-by, Levity, but instead I'm about to kick things off with another favorite, The Sixth Glass.

Well I was joking about the bud light and pabst and natty, every body knows those beers are bottom of the barrel!

The calorie thing isn't ENTIRELY true though.  Sure 50-60 calories a pop may not seem like much in one beer.  But let's say someone (and we're not going to implicate me in this or anything...) drinks a 6 pack of beer a day.  That leads to calorie loss of about 300 a day.  That's a chipotle burrito you didn't eat!  And in a week that saves you 2100 calories... a whole days worth of calories.  I would go out on a limb and say that someone could lose about 6 pounds in two weeks just by switching to light beer, even though that person wasn't really overweight to begin with.
