Actually, I'm not doing any LD transfers (as I don't own any myself). I'm just geeking out from the sidelines. What's amazing is how much of the tech talk about LD captures and transfers I'm following and more importantly, comprehending, since I've never actually done one myself.

A good friend of mine is a Laserphile and I try to scrounge up a good rare laserdisc for him every year around Christmas time. He's built a fairly impressive library of OOP (i.e. OOP on VHS and DVD) titles. I know he has Kong, a bunch of Rush LDs, a bunch of great Disney classics and, of course, the DE of the OT.
