I actually would have to say that you are being too harsh on the guy.  He's done what he's in the past which I have shared in the annoyance of, but regardless of that, he was asking a perfectly legitimate question and is probably just new to this whole community and still getting the grip of how things work.  Give him a chance to redeem himself and don't bully him for some (albeit some big) mistakes.

However, to the individual in question, if you keep up the shenanigans, it is likely to get you banned from the forum.  I'm not a moderator, but I've seen it happen.

But again, perfectly legitimate question.  I'd wait for the definitive answer from Harmy, but I believe he will do a 3.0 at some point.

Yes, it is, but your avatar is much better.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

Just wanted to say thank you to Harmy. I haven't DL'd the V2.5 yet (waiting on a myspleen invite), but the two I have are incredible. My daughter watches them with me, and refuses to watch the SE versions. She can't wait to see the ROTJ v2, as she has a fascination with ewoks.

...I've known this forum to be very helpful when it comes to technical matters and I'm disappointed that the above users would tell you that DVD and Blu-ray are the same size on purpose just to fuck with you. I expected better from them.

Let's do a quick size comparison:
http://i.imgur.com/uJitcH7.png
As you can see, the Blu-ray on the left is MUCH larger than the DVD on the right. This is because the Blu-ray's total data capacity is nearly 6 times as large as DVDs. Not only that, but the center hole is much larger than the DVD as well, so if you try to put a DVD in a Blu-ray case you won't be able to fit it on the little center spool thing.

For those without a sense of humor or irony, the disc on the left is a laserdisc. Disney doesn't even use that logo anymore for its video releases.

Blu-ray cases are a little hard to come by on their own, so what you need to do is PM TV's Frink and if he still has any in stock he'll hook you up.

Don't do that. He will mock you relentlessly for being so gullable.

If anyone is willing to throw me a myspleen invite, I'd be grateful. I noticed last night that the copy of the DE version I have of ESB is way to small to be the latest. (it's around 7GB).

Next thing we know you'll be telling us that Dell laptop in the reflection of the laserdisc isn't a recent model...

Hey guys,

I wanted to watch the original trilogy for the first time and heard that the original version was the best. I stumbled upon this trying to find a copy of the original trilogy and was wondering if someone could possibly send me an invite to myspleen? I just wanted to download the files so that I could watch it with some friends for the first time! Thanks!!

You won't find an invite in this thread. Go look in another one. There are other places to get this, though, where you don't need one.

I was able to successfully burn the DeSpecialized version of Star Wars to DVD about a week ago with the various audio tracks. Quality was a tad reduced but not too bad. Still looks excellent and better than GOUT! Just wanna give a big thumbs up to Harmy and those who contributed for the hard work into putting this DeSpecialized version together. Keep up the good work guys!

When i burnt  ESB to DVD, i noted that in action movement scenes there was a bit of distortion or blurred image. Does anyone know what it might be?

Beyond the normal motion blur of an LCD display? 'Cause that dwarfs most other motion artifacts IMO.

All well and good until you see they are charging entry.  I take it you sent them a facebook message, Harmy?

The Despecialized Edition not only treats GOUT, it cures it.

Edit: I just saw the Facebook link. Good grief.

It’s really sad when the “creative minds” behind something we hold dear are also guilty of its destruction.

I hope this doesn't cause any trouble. I don't want a C&D just because some morons thought it'd be nice to make a quick buck off of these.

The facebook link doesn't work anymore. What was there if I may ask?

I don't think sending a C&D letter to Czech Republic is that easy.

You know what I meant! This event could have made it more difficult for work on these to continue somehow.
