Thanks a lot for separate archives.
I wrote a GOUT-sync script for the 1280x file.
Seems there's a frame missing somewhere between 20th Fox and STAR WARS title card.
Finding its exact location, amid all the blackness and static logo shots, seemed like a fool's errand.
So I punted. Instead the script begins with STAR WARS title card.
There it is.
It includes two merge() commands to handle repeated frames.
In the scene where Luke tastes Yoda's pottage, frames 78089 & 78090 are repeats of 78087 & 78088 respectively.
They seem to be from different sources, so the merge() looks ugly, but hey-- it's only a frame-counting excercise.
When Yoda watches Luke enter the cave, 90676-709 are duplicates of 90642-675 respectively, apparently the same source.
GOUT-sync wasn't your stated goal; I do understand that.
Repeats probably weren't the goal either . . . I'm guessin'.
Thanks a lot for sharing.
I hope the "release early and often" trend will continue.
