Normally I would say this should be the plot of a movie, but it is already the plot of an episode of South Park.

I'm missing the south park connection to this.
In an episode of South Park, the kids try to lose so they won't have to waste their summer playing baseball. It's one of the more popular episodes. It had Bat-dad!!
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Saywhat you will about him but I still think he makes a better Batman then Clooney.
I guess even a blind squirrel will find a nut.
Would this be a good time for me to mention my indifference for South Park?
I haven't cared for South Park in a long time. It has it's moments, but most of them were in the 90s. Now it's kind of running off the fact that it's the best thing on Comedy Central, which is saying very little.

I thought the Heavy Metal parody they did was brilliant. If the sequel wasn't dead in the water, they should have been the ones to animate it.
Where were you in '77?
