We haven't tried, but it should be possible to merge the m2ts files together into one, and remake the bluray that way, so that there are no gaps. You could test it on a computer first before burning to see if it works.

You can with Tsmuxer. Just open the correct .mpls file.

For an MKV 'MakeMKV' will merge them all into one MKV. MKVmerge/MKVtoolnix will do this too.
