Yep, have to agree. A Governorship is generally looked at as being a step back. My wife was saying Obama would make a great Illinois Governer and, while I agree, I know it'll never happen. I'm not sure about Hillary in 2008. I still think it's too early for her to run and be taken seriously as a candidate. Still too many hardliners out there that don't think a woman can do it. Plus, there is still such a negative perception of her. I don't think she'd stand a chance. Too early for Obama, too. Give him 8-12 years in the Senate and then it'll happen.
