I was going through a binge watch of all of the Halloween films recently and watched Halloween Resurrection for the first time in a longer than I can remember. I hated it more than someone kicking the back of my seat on an airplane. I haven't been through such a range of emotions during a movie in a long time. I went from being furious, to annoyed, to bored, to insulted, and then to completely exhausted both physically and emotionally at the end. It was one the most horrific things I've ever seen on a screen, and the whole thing was an embarrassment to everyone involved and was an insult to everything that I hold dear. It was a "living nightmare" as kids these days like to say, and the whole thing was mindnumbingly nonsensical and foolish. I hated the movie. I hate it, I hate slasher movies involving the internet, I hate Busta Rhymes, and I hate the scriptwriter. I wish that rather than make the movie, they would have just taken the money they were going to spend on it and set it on fire. It is the biggest fuck-up in the recorded history of mankind.
