The music really didn't do anything for me though.
Would it help to know the name of the song?

Or that I'm going to use the bit at 2:15 during the later part of the chase?
On multiple viewings, you probably need to show Grevious scuttling off to his vehicle, as he's just magically in it now.

I purposely cut that out because I hate it so darn much. :-(
My thought was that if I showed a little more of Obi, it conceivably would give Steve time to get to the wheelicle off-screen. I suppose I can restore the scuttling if necessary...
Okay, the song is growing on me. ;)
I don't like that Grievous scuttle bit either, but if you can make a joke out of it? Does Roberto say bug in any episodes? So Steve can say Look! I'm a bug!
Is there a sound effect when Dr. Zoidberg scuttles?
Where were you in '77?
IIRC Zoidberg makes a weird "woop woop" noise when he scuttles, maybe that would be useful. Not a bad idea!
That's what I was thinking of. It actually harkens back to The Three Stooges.

This clip is fairly complete, although I still need to replace some sound where I cut out Greivous coughing, wheezing, etc. What a pain in my ass, thanks Lucas! Anyway, I'd like some feedback on two items:
1) Starting with the lightsaber fight and ending with Obi getting on his luck dragon, I cut out several beats in order to shorten things up. Does it work from a flow/geography standpoint?
2) Does it work removing the sound entirely and replacing with just the song?

If it doesn't mess up your plans too much (and I forget how long the chase scene is, so this may not work), why don't you have Obi-Wan pull down that ventilation thing (or whatever it is that is hanging on the ceiling that Obi pushes Steve into) on top of Steve after he falls down, ending your fight scene very anticlimactically? It shouldn't be too hard to convey, since you can use the shot from when Obi-Wan pulls one down on the droids.
I suggest it partly because the song doesn't do much for me either, irregardless of the title.
Now, if you have brilliant ideas for later on in the fight, then go ahead with whatever you have planned.
He does. In Frink we trust. ;)

This is just for you, Ric. No one else watch it.
LOL
Are Steve's lines pieced together? It sounds like it's taken as is from its source, but it seems to work just too well with the scene. :)
At long last! Steve's final head pop ought to have nice loud sound to go with it.
And maybe you could sneak in a Die Steve Die! from Obi Wan? ;)

Pieced together but only in two pieces. The stuff where he gains his sanity back and then loses it again (including the boogily moogily) is all from Bender's Game. The "It burns!" as suggested by SilverWook, is from The Six Million Dollar Mon.
I'm sure Old Man Frink won't get it, but I'd love it to be the Grunt Birthday Party sound effect from Halo 3.SilverWook said:

The Star Wars arcade game joke at the end made me laugh.
So, a new book came out and we learned so much, and it is called, “Anguilosaurus, Killer of the Living”.
Except for the lip sync at the very end, it's good. And nice tease of the main Steve/Obi Wan chase. ;)

It's on purpose.
To be a little more specific, it's a bit of a running gag...see 11:48 and 12:05.
Okay.
And wow, I forget how long you have been working on this sometimes! ;)

Yesterday was the two-year anniversary of starting this thread...wow.
We need to throw a party when this is done. ;)

Nah, I just want a nap. ;-)
Oh no! Is Steve going to be a ghost now? ;)
You might be able to sneak in a cartoony fall/explosion offscreen as Steve's bike lands.
"Falkor" could say something as he's left behind?
