I continue to have issues burning this and having it work on my players, can anyone lend an assist ?
Also, we have the good audio on Andrea's release... not just the original 2-channel laserdisc track (which sounds great), but also the HDNet Movies multi-channel version of the original audio (they cooked that one up and it sounds great). The Blu-ray multi-channel audio altered the original, though it's a powerful track.
nice cover though...

One thing I love about Scream Factory is that you can turn the covers inside out and it will show the original artwork as well.

Nice, but I don't think it will outdo the work here which really gave this film some care for the first time ever. They re-did The Shadow from a new scan, and I still can't tell what the heck happened. Great, forgotten, underrated movie I've loved to death on DTS LD, and their new "scan" has deep color not before seen but is so filtered looking much of the detail is gone.

What I'm curious about is if this new disc will have better detail upon which a v.2 of the spoRv could be created, if there is interest?

It seems that Scream (Shout) Factory loves a lot [spoRv] projects... first "Supernova" (until then a forgotten movie), now "Escape From New York"... what's next? (^^,)

BD Rebuilder will solve it.

Reading this description, I am not sure how ?
Guys, sorry for the bump in this thread, but how do I obtain this glorious work?
Burned it twice, each time the Blu won't play and toast control finds an error. There's something wrong with the upload.
I'll release a V1.1; the image will be deblocked then a grain plate will be added.

Where can I get this from please?
"I'll release" = "I will release (in the future)"... a near future, I hope, as the most part of the work is done! Follow both threads here and on fanres, to know when it will be ready!

It will be curious to see how the Shout disc turns out. I'm hoping the image will be brighter than the current official release.

The same with me.
I don't know what to do. Is anyone willing to help >? I can provide the disk.

Same here. I'm new to this forum. If a direct link can't be posted, is there a FAQ that would tell readers how to locate some of the great work being done by members of this forum?
Thanks,

Although it's main purpose is to shrink BD50s, it can fix errors in BD files/structure. I know, for instance, people replace M2ts files from a blu ray (to keep the menu, but replace feature with an edit) and then run it through BD-RB and it patches things up, resulting in a working disc.
@humguy1: sign up at fanres - updated project will be posted there first.
@towne32: I'll give it a try for the V1.1 - and also for the other projects, too! Thanks for the input!

It's not necessarily something you need to do for your releases if they're not problematic. I haven't personally done anything with BD-RB that didn't involve a re-encode, but presumably it's smart enough not to when the files will fit. (unless you mean use it to keep the retail menus/extras, in which case I can look for the instructions I found).
I've burnt most of your other releases, and they all work fine on standalone players and with powerdvd. So I'm not sure you need to change your standard method. Escape is still sitting on my hdd, since you mentioned an update on the way. Not sure what's up with it.
When I learned better to use a grain plate, I tested this method with EFNY too, and I noted that the quality is quite better with it applied, thing that I haven't done at the time of project release... grain helps to hide the small artifacts present in the HDTV source, without over processing - DNR in particular...
If all my other projects are OK, maybe there was some sort of problem during the authoring; as V1.1 will involve a complete new encoding, I hope compatibility problems will not arise with it...

I don't know what else to do, I cannot get this release to burn to a usable disc in my Panny, PS3 or PS4 :(
You could always use just the .m2ts file - put it into a 32GB USB memory, or stream it from your PC to PS3; it should work!

I have played it on my HTPC, but I really want the bluray in my collection with the remainder of your pieces.
