@DrCrow, my dad had a heart attack last year and his doctors have told him to avoid Potassium (which is apparently in loads of things). Does your dad have to avoid certain things after getting his new heart? Just curious!
Yep he sure does, and potassium is one of them. Still he is much better off with his new heart but we have gotten really creative wince his heart condition. He also has to watch how much water he drinks in a day, still it could be much worse, the new heart was a god sent.
Of course now the anti rejection drugs have nearly destroyed his kidneys so he he waiting for a transplant there but he is over all i9n much better shape then he was before he got the new heart.
Hope things go well for your dad, I'll be praying for him.
