I'm lost, I can see part of a face for Fett, but nothing that resembles him. & I can understand where someone might strain to picture an Emperor in the eye...but it seems really unintentional.
I just hate stupid people.

We humans have a nack for seeing things where there really aren't in reality, like faces in stone and shapes in the clouds. This is no different...at least I believe.

Yeah, ur right. It also depends on the extent of ur imagination. Like books; some people can derive meanings that are off-the-wall from books, but they are still there.

That has got to be the dumbest version of the poster. I swear people will believe almost anything the internet tells them anymore.

There is nothing there but an awful poster. The other Darth's cut-down version was far superior.

According to a friend of mine who went to a rehab facility, they have special rooms u can go to to have fun, & among the PCs, TVs, & games they have, there is a sperate area with chairs facing a screen that is constantly changing colors, He says he & other teens sit there for hours & watch it.
I just hate stupid people.

Thanks for bringing us back on topic!

I think the biggest problem with the poster is it has a very non-Star Wars feel. Like the Episode II teaser, which was just as bad. But that one looked like something done on photoshop, real shoddy. This one looks like something from a Pepsi promotion or something.

The Episode I Anakin is so superior.

Well He is 'everywhere', I'm sure even at Taco Bell.

Back on tpoic the poster sucks but then in that respect it's representative of the film itself I'm sure.

The fake teaser poster a while back, whilst not being professional or polished was a far sight more in keeping with the supposed throughline of the film and the series. Whereas this poster is just amaturish and 'try-hard-y'.

We all know what it's going for but it just doesn't quite achieve the desired effect. It's like a thumbnail variation on a concept that was taken to proposal level where it should have been given extensive notes and sent back to the drawing board.

The idea is good and the fake teaser poster had the same idea done better.

The composition is poor and the execution of the 'hidden' image is just bad, it looks like a rush job.

It's interesting to note that fans can do better posters than LFL and better DVD transfers al beit from inferior sources, better stories with the novels and comics and tighter editing of the films themselves with fanedits.

Next up a totally fan produced version of the Prequel Trilogy to match the Original Trilogy films in acting effects and sprit and replace the LFL versions of the PT altogether.

They've definitely hyped Vader's presence in the film too much that I'm sure it'll dissapoint.

Palpy: "Rise Darth Vader" followed by more dialogue

Vader (JEJ): "Yes my master" or something then like two or three more lines and the scene of Vader on the bridge of some ship or some such.

It won't be great.

Maybe they'll insert the ROTJ scene at the end, again, like they did with the ESB SE. But yes, I haven't thought of that, they must have hyped Vader's presence... Either way, it's going to be too little or too much.
