SNL won't ever be the same without him. I always thought it was so cool he appeared in Weird Al's I lost on Jepoardy! video, which recreated the game show in it's original glory.
Where were you in '77?
So sad to hear this. I always felt he was the perfect John Hammond (though the movie portrayed him differently).
If you haven't played the Dreamworks Interactive game Trespasser, it features Sir Richard expanding upon his role and the lore in spectacular voice over. If you're a fan of Jurassic Park, it's worth slogging through that turd of a game for that reason alone.
Keep Circulating the Tapes.

Bill Kerr 92.
The last of the Hancock's Half Hour crowd, at least he survived long enough to see his Doctor Who contribution resurface.

Well here is some sad news for anyone who is a huge Bond fan or a fan of classic TV. He did a ton of classic Tv shows and films including Eegha which was featured on MST3K.
He always seemed like such a nice guy despite the fact that he mostly plays villains.
R.I.P Jaws:(

Ah, no. Sad news. :(
Sean O'Haire, the Devil's Advocate, 43, took his own life.
As a pro wrestling fan for 30 years, I have never seen someone with as many gifts for the business as this 6'6" lightning fast killing machine, who somehow fizzled and left the business ten years ago.

Ikey Owens, keyboard maestro for Pocket Lent, Free Moral Agents, Long Beach Dub All-Stars, Slightly Stoopid, the Mars Volta & (most recently) Jack White.
I was lucky enough to see him perform with Pocket Lent in '97 as well as with Slightly Stoopid during his one tour with them (as one of maybe 15 people in the audience), and then in the aughts saw him a few times with the Mars Volta and his own band Free Moral Agents. He was an essential element of the California music scene since Pocket Lent's astonishing Verve showed the punkers what music is supposed to sound like.

very sad, but at least she went out the way she wanted.
Glen A. Larson has passed away at 77
He was responsible for so many of my favorite shows. I wish I had gotten a chance to thank him. =(

Dallas Taylor (April 7, 1948 – January 18, 2015)
A personal friend of mine, and great humanitarian was lost today. Dallas Woodrow Taylor Jr. was an American session drummer who played on several rock records of the 1960s and 1970s. He is best known as the drummer on Crosby, Stills and Nash's debut album, Crosby, Stills & Nash and their follow-up with Neil Young, Déjà Vu. Dallas had helped a lot of people with his drug intervention practice. I had last been in correspondence with him a couple of years ago, when I sent him some rare unreleased CSN and CSN&Y studio out-takes with him on drums. He seemed very appreciative, and was a very kind soul.
RIP Dallas.
