Surely he knew that already.  I figured he just thought it was a pornsite using meatwad to seem clever.  lol

The question stands. Should I send that reply to Mr Black or no?

I wouldn't send it, and I definitely wouldn't mention that script to him if you did.  I showed you that script so that you could possibly use it yourself.  lol

What should I send? Nothing? My original idea for a reply? Something kinder and softer?

Definitely be kinder and softer.  The poor guy's just doing his job, and look at it from his perspective, going to 35 mm film to transfer "The Magic Schoolbus" wouldn't exactly be the best business move.  Plus the way you word it all sounds a bit challenging, which will get you nowhere.

I admit that sometimes I can be a bit too blunt. I also admit that I have trouble explaining things.

Do you have any suggestions on what I should write instead? Something that gets the point across without being rude and condescending, or blunt?

Send them:
"Hey fuckwad, get your tits out of your ass and transfer that shit from 35 mm film, or else you can just sniff my scrotum."

That should do it, it's a nice balance between knowing what you want and being rude.

Welcome back this nonsense thread!

In complete seriousness, does anybody with hq vhs preservation equipment (hq s-vhs player, tbc, etc) near one of the areas listed on this website? It would be nice to see the compilation movie listed in that site preserved in it's entirety, regardless of how unimportant and childish it is. Aside from the episodes themselves (...in the haunted house and ...goes batty) the only existing footage for this special on the internet is this clip from the beginning. Ridiculously cheesy, but nostalgic for some.
