First film/tv show you're going to watch in 2015!

I will be working my way through the X-Men film series in this order. X-Men/X-Men 2/X-Men:First Class/X-Men: Days of Future Past

As for what show I watch it will be one of these three I have not decided on yet, Chuck, Babylon 5, or Person of Interest.

Welp, I just finished showing season 2, episode 7 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to my roommates. Getting them caught up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Once I've got them caught up with AoS, I'll probably show them the One Shot shorts, Captain America: The First Avenger and then cap it off with the Agent Carter One Shot in preparation for the series premiere.

I'll continue my journey through the entirety of Doctor Who. Currently in the middle of the 16th season finale with the Fourth Doctor.

I also still need to catch up with Gotham and Boardwalk Empire.

I think I've given up on Falling Skies.

I gave up on Falling Skies after three episodes.  I just could not stay awake for that show. It was just BSG with everyone walking instead of flying ships.  Every time I tried to watch it I fell asleep.

Oh and is it just me or is the current plot line for AOS the same main plot line as seasons six and seven of Stargate Sg1?

First film I watched this year was the glorious "Men At Work" written by, directed by and starring Emilio Estevez. Why watch on New Year's Day? I don't know, the first time I saw it as a teenager was on TBS on New Year's Day, so I figure maybe make a tradition out of it.

Over the last week I binge-watched Seasons 1 & 2 of "Bates Motel". Awesome show. I don't know what show I'll watch next, maybe I'll finally start watching "Justified" or I'll give "Deadwood" a second shot.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

"Star Trek V" was the first film I watched.

That's not exactly how I'd like to start a new year, but I guess there are worse films out there.

I watched Back to the Future Part II; I've been waiting years to watch that in 2015. I put it in right at midnight

Currently watching Sons Of Anarchy which I like a lot, JJ's Star Trek movies are next on the queue :)

Careful, I don't think we're allowed to like JJ's Star Trek films around here...

Personally I'm a closeted fan of them, but don't tell anybody...

Also, I liked Nemesis, don't tell anybody that either... (although I will admit that it is very, very different and non-consistent with the tone of star trek in general.  I would have liked it alot better if it were a different, individual movie not based on star trek.  But as a film, I like it.)

Days of Future Past was good but not as good as I had hoped.  It looks like they are moving towards the Age of Apocalypse story line next but I could be wrong.

I did enjoy The Wolverine Extended Cut.

I know I'm keeping an eye on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. for sure.  Agent Carter looks promising too but I'm expecting the worse while hoping for the best with it.

I recently got season 3 of TNG on BD, so I've been working my way through that. I must say, it's like watching the show for the very first time.

Dammit. The first movie I watched this year was The Phantom Menace. I'm feeling dirty right now...

The only way to atone is to watch The Ridiculous Menace. ;)

Where were you in '77?

Thanks SilverWook,

I was lurking since the TFA teaser came out, so I already came across TRM. Remembering the altered scenes helped me to cope with the original.

Not really I have to say because of all the plot problems and the stupid reason Anikan is given for turning and the fact that he wasn't really needed any way(I mean all he did was kill kids and unarmed people and the one trained Jedi he went up against kicked his ass so what good was he?)Episode is the worst of the prequels to me. So for me it only gets worse after episode one.

I'm with Handman, I watched a couple episodes of Season 5 of TNG in the morning, then spent the rest of the day watching FRIENDS on Netflix with my wife.
