EpIII Teaser Poster

I like the fake one better. I love how Luca$ slapped the logo on everything at this point: posters, shirts, mugs, hats...

Only $29.99 plus S&H

It looks kinda like Lord Dark Helmet from Spaceballs, doesn't it? Doesn't look like the Vader we saw in the preview on the official discs (who looks a lot like the real Vader, except in size).

For some reason, I expected it to say "Just Do It" at the bottom.

Looks like vader's helmet has spent a little to long in the trash compactor.

wow, just wow...that fake one kicked ass. And im not nearly as critical as some people here. I actually enjoyed the first two movies, yeah, they had their bad spots and there was times i cringed (every time they called Anakin Ani for instance) but for the most point i enjoyed them, not up to the caliber they could/should have been, but enjoyable.

Does anyone have a better image of that fake one. The one posted here was kinda skewed. I would love to have a good copy of that image. I really liked the 'shadow effect' they used similar to the teaser poster for Episode I.

Why Anakin really turned to the dark side:
"Anakin, You're father I am" - Yoda
"No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!" - Anakin

Oh man. That poster looks....really bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the first two teaser posters looked relatively photorealistic, didn't they? Although the screen grab may be poor, the Ep III poster looks like something someone doodled on a notebook. And I agree it resembles Dark Helmet.

Say, can't we get some guy to make a quality poster-sized image of the fake one?

I don't know if you noticed but that's his CAPE - His cape is "blowing into" the shape of Vaders helmet - but yes it's stoopid but kinda cool....

It's a very clever idea, but badly executed.
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

If you just have the cape and change the backround colour it will look good.

And I think this about says it.

It looks like a cartoon. I would expect this as the cover of a comic book adaptation of the movie, not the teaser poster for the movie itself.

Strangely reminds me of the old Mad Magazines back page 'fold in'. Anyone remember them?

Whoever the designer was, they were so enthralled by the concept that they didn't bother to see if anybody else "got it" without having it explained. The poster looks to me like Lord Dark Helmet with a black veil over his entire head, and then a small shot of Anakin peeking around him a la "where's waldo." The only thing really interesting to me is the giant scar on Anakin's eye. I haven't seen that in any of the footage so far.

I remember them. And, knowing Mad Magazine, I would expect the fold in image to be of someone demanding their money back at the theater.

theforce.net has a "Phantom Collage" "showing" several hidden characters hidden in the poster. Am I the only one that can't see a single one of them?

Kerry and Edwards suck ass.

I really, erm... don't like this poster. Does anyone have a link to the other prequel teaser posters for comparison?
I mean, wow... this sucks. Even a lot of Lucas-loving fans say this.

My stance on revising fan edits.

If this is deliberate, its quite clever, or are people seeing things.

Only one I can definately make out is Fett, and I can kinda see what there getting at with the darth vaders.

Even if this stuff is true this poster shouldnt be put in theaters, people wont get it.

Actually, minus Fett I'm seeing these things...but they seem pretty damn UNintentional. People are definitely just seeing things.
