did you guys know there was another darth maul arc written that was set after the son of dathomir and the last episode of series would have lead right into revenge of the sith. they literally had the last 53 episodes all written and 4 of them only needing the animation finished i believe.

 That's fascinating.

....

No wait, it's not.  Get out of this thread and take your tv show ramblings with you.  This is a thread about ESB:R and your post has nothing to do with it.  Good day, sir!

Frink and Possessed it's the holidays and you two are being a scrooges or a Grinches. i understand this about empire revisited but adywan won't have another update on the project until 2015 and there hasn't been besides suggestions are closed anyway. can't people talk about star wars related stuff on here it's really not hurting anyone.

We have another forum for general Star Wars discussion. Kindly use it instead of cluttering up this thread with chatter unrelated to the project. Thanks!

Watched your clip again today and there is one more thing I noticed again it is not a problem that is created by revisited it is again a carry over from the original.

In this shot the ground in the original is untextured (no grooves or bumps in the snow) and the ground has no movement.

As a quick mock up example of how it could look with texture on the ground I did a still.

I don't know if this is actually doable and it is no biggie but I thought about the ground in a few shots before this one the external shot and the ground here could perhaps be re-used or another shot to add velocity that was never here previously. It's a small continuity error that could potentially make it feel much better but I thought I would point it out. I  think this shot could have just been a painting rather than moving footage which is in all the other shots in the sequence.

Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all and thanks for sharing your great work. Now go and drink Beer :)

seriously!!??

I like how Ronster says:

...it is no biggie...

like he actually means it.

I mean, wasn't there a whole conversation about this a week ago?

“You can’t polish a turd. But you can shape it to look like candy.”

Move along, HH - I was merely making 'observations'.  Don't shoot me.  ;)

No, no, IF, your post was great, I missed about half of the little changes you pointed out!  It went straight to the heart of what makes this edit so worth waiting for -- incredible attention to detail in the pursuit of absolute perfection.  I was merely pointing out Frink's pissy over-reaction to a single 'observation' I made.  About something that was quite glaringly wrong.

Thanks for that!  But here are a few observations (not suggestions).  The red font is a little too "red."  And "Merry" is spelled "Merree."  "Merry" is quite glaringly wrong.

How's this for an idea? I'll donate $100 to adywan if you promise to stop pointing out things that need fixing in TESB. Seriously.

So, are you going to accept this challenge, Ronster? ;)

 Apparently not.

Could this be more than just a beautiful Photoshopped mock-up?! I want to believe!
