Thanks for sharing the new clip, I thought there was some real good stuff in there.
If I may give some feedback that should in no way be interpreted as suggestions for anything to be changed. I think you post up clips that you want feedback on anyway so I will shoot.
I really like the snowspeeder external shots that improve movement especially the one that fly's more towards the screen past the explosion.
The new AT-ST shot I really like it's new position in the shot that makes a lot of sense as It looked like it was walking on air but I kind of miss the speed that it originally had perhaps they have a sprint function? These ones do have longer legs... That was something that made me think about their original design and that it was rushing a position while the AT-AT is stationary. If I could choose best of both it would be your new position and keeping the same speed but I like it all the same it's one of those getting used to it shots probably.
The trench looks good and I was interested in how you twisted the shield generator around a bit. But the thing that struck me about it was now there is a trench there should the laser bolts be aimed at the trench instead of the shield generator? As in the original there was nothing else to aim them at so I think you have some granted artistic license to go with "Prepare to target the main generator" and not shoot at it if you think that makes more sense.
I think that you are aware that "Watch that cross fire boys" is out of sync from the original film it's not a revisited created problem or fault it's there from day one I think. so I wonder is this a audio job rather than a video speed change?
My favourite part was the cockpit being electrified on that side view and I thought the blending here was absolutely seamless and the cockpit display flickering all really nicely done.
3 AT-AT's !!!! So Gereral Veers has already Veered off :)
As Ray afraid said I thought the shot that contained both Luke's crashed speeder and the AT-AT Legs approaching was also going to be re-scaled but I can see this is in no way an easy task. But there is one thing about this shot that sticks out and it now sticks out more because you have put a better background in. The Lighting on that AT-AT leg's are really bad and the leg's don't blend in the original or revisited. The leg's have a lighting problem that makes them look weird and It is no fault of your work it is inherited from the original film. The new re-scaled foot works well and feels better.
The thing that has always bugged me about this sequence is that a ceasefire from the AT-AT's ensue as soon as Luke crashes so It does not feel like he crashed in the middle of a battle.
