I am sick of being alone all day every day, stuck out in the country because I have no money and can not drive.  I have had five years of this with no end in sight.

Life is a bitch and then you die,  I hope I don't live to see next christmas. I have had about all of this life that I can take.

Oh, and I cannot see it on that still from Bluray.com.

Oh. The coat is very obviously red in that Blu-Ray.com shot I posted. It's your eyes I'm afraid.

Your current Avatar? What colour is the light on the Bridge-Keeper's face?

Orang-ey, right?

I know I'm color blind, but I wonder how much other things like codecs factor into it.

And the monitor too! Does it properly reproduce red?

It looks strongly red to me, which was why I asked.

Nothing. I have that same picture you posted on another monitor. I can't see it.

Sometimes these things drive me to tears. I can't fathom how the world could be any more red than it is. But it is, and I can't see it.

That's the chorus of one of my fav songs...

Nas - Life's A Bitch

But in that case it's all about how precious life is. e.g.

"I switched my motto - instead of sayin f**k tomorrow
That buck that bought a bottle could've struck the lotto"

Maybe listening to it will cheer you up. And if you want another positive rap, this one ALWAYS cheers me up...

I see orangey-red. As far as I'm aware I am only colour-blind to certain shades of green, so hopefully my eyes aren't getting bad at seeing reds as well.

There are times when I wish I had tritanopia. It'd be neat to view the world as if it were an old two-colour Technicolor film.

I bought a G-Box Q for christmas. I hope that it can replace my Wii...and maybe even my family's cable set top box...

Nobody sang The Bunny Song in years…

AFAIK, it's not supposed to get worse. That's why I was freaking out, because I remember being able to see the coat, long ago, on vhs.

Mine is red-green. It gets so frustrating at times.

Trust me, if you could choose, you wouldn't wanna be color blind. It's not fun.

That's what I thought, but I supposedly had perfect colour vision once and now I don't. It's possible, however, that the tests they did before just didn't include the colours I can't see.

I meant to say that I'd like to try it on, so to speak, for a limited period of time just to see what it's like.

I guess I should have just said that in the first place, though.

It seems that Fans of the show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" are getting the same problems as we have with Star Wars. Fox remasters the show for an HD release, but in 16:9 instead of the intended 4:3, which results in cropped/zoomed in pictures or in opened shots which show crewmembers, equipment or even actors that should have 'vanished'. None of the original filmmakers were involved in the process, which results also in wrong colors, since fox didn't care to use any filters. Scenes that play at night, look as if they play at day, etc.

Cropping TV shows/movies filmed in fullscreen to make them widescreen is just as bad as doing the opposite in my book.

Why weren't the 1900s and the 1910s ever called the '00s and the '10s, respectively? Why did the '20s-'90s get to be in Club Truncated but the first two decades of the 20th century didn't?

It's so unfair.

Making you pay more for the original fullscreen versions, (as Universal is plotting to do with the forthcoming 1978 Battlestar Galactica Blu Ray set) is downright criminal.

Where were you in '77?

I always thought the "Who wants to be a millionaire" theme must've ripped that 6 note riff from the New World Symphony. Do you guys hear it?

Have you cared to search how clearly James Horner is influenced by Profokiev?

Composers interpolate. Sometimes it works. Other times not.
