I just finished watching the 2003 Clone Wars series. Everything except the story sucked, and the story wasn't particularly noteworthy, so it gets a big "meh" overall. Maybe it's just the visual medium I dislike. But then again, there are plenty of animated shows that are consistent from shot to shot (the Clone Wars goes from showing a huge army to showing nothing in the same spot from shot to shot), that have good voice acting, etc. Also, it always bugs me when Jedi can fly (since when can Jedi fly!?) and destroy hundreds of droids with ease in one shot, and in the next they're fighting for their life with a single droid, which they effortlessly destroy when they decide to use force powers instead of their lightsabre. Now, I think the story is better than that of the prequels, but I'm not sure why people prefer this one to the more recent series.
