For those that don't already know, the 2D blu-ray has a green tint throughout the movie.  The 3D/2D version DOES NOT have this tint.  The 3D/2D apparently has the theatrical color-timing.

Source:  KK650's thread over at the paradox site and I've watched sample clips of each.

The 3D version comes with 2D and 3D on the same disc.  Both of them don't have the green tint.  So it's all good, get the 3D set.

The 2D copy that comes with the 3D set, which you can currently use, DOESN'T have the green tint.  The 2D-only version has green tint.

Excuse my confusion guys.

doubleofive, I know that you're from the good 'ol U.S. of A., and your screengrabs confirm there's a distinctly greenish re-tint on the 2D disc that comes with your 3D Blu-ray combo set (region A/1).  Gah, and the 'lens flare' difference is certainly curious too...

However...your comparison shots definately seem to contradict stretch009's comments, which I've shown above.

stretch009, are you referring to the region A/1 combo set too?...as doubleofive's screengrabs prove different to what you've said, if so.

And I can't seem to access tehparadox to check out KK650's comments as the site seems to be offline now - however the 'Rocket Racoon' comparison shot that Ryan McAvoy showed on the previous page definitely seems to show that the standalone 2D Blu-ray disc (region B/2) has this awful re-tint too.  But I'm not sure which region KK650's original shot was from.

I'm from the U.K., and was planning to get the 3D Blu-ray combo set (region B/2) shortly...but I'd find this distinctly greenish re-tint almost unwatchable, knowing that some discs have the more natural, Theatrical colouration to them.  So until this is clarified, I'll just hold off...as I'd rather just get the DVD (region 2) if ALL the 2D Blu-ray discs (region B/2) turn out to have this green crap going on.  :(

(and I just hope the DVD has the Theatrical hue, rather than the tint...)
