Ryan, I think I might paint the droid like ep2 c3po because its supposed to be just another protocol droid. C3po and R2 while wandering the desert happen upon the boonta dirt track and watch the race unfold, so if this other protocol droid gets destroyed then it could cut back to 3po reacting to it (by dubbing in either "oh dear" or "OH!"(from when he sees the droid get ripped apart in Jabba's palace)), because at one point in the race the s#!t really hits the fan and a lot of violent crashes happen.

Not sure if you meant the droid sounds, or the car sounds. I don't think I'll change r2 or 3po's voices but maybe add some "futuristic" sounds from serials for r2 if he's using one of his gizmo's. The car sounds are mostly sounds of dragsters and dirt racers. The Stutz should probably sound like a farting, backfiring, womp rat stomping mechanical monstrosity, the protocol driver should speak bochi or like that evil sounding droid in the Jawa sandcrawler.
